What you need to start

This play assumes you already have a sense of what types of accounts you’re targeting, the roles within those accounts, and the solutions you deliver. 

(If not, don’t worry, you can still run this play in no time, continue on).

STEP 1
Gather Customer Reviews In a Shareable Document (5-10 Minutes)

More than likely, your company has a library of case studies and reviews online. Grab some screenshots and downloads and centralize them into a shareable document. We’ll put this to work in the next step. 

  • PRO TIP

If you don’t have any relevant reviews or case studies whatsoever, team up with your marketing & product teams and spend some time with your engaged customers. They’re the best sources of content 

STEP 2
Review Breakdown (5-10 Minutes)

This is where it gets fun. In your document, highlight the following: 

  • The different kinds of roles & titles you’re supporting
  • Their firmographic information (industry/size)
  • And the benefits you’ve delivered or results you’ve helped them achieve

Organize and Compile (5-10 Minutes)

Now, in your document of choice, organize snippets of 

Ex. 

  • Who: Sales Managers
  • Challenges: Pressed for time, balancing multiple responsibilities, process inefficiencies
  • How:  Save time, engage more prospects, streamline process
  • Company: Insurance, mid-size
  • Capabilities Used: list building (lead generation), email analytics (sales engagement)
  • Who are we helping?
  • What challenges did they face?
  • How are we helping?
  • What kinds of companies do they work at?
  • What did they use to complete their objective and/or solve challenges?
STEP 4
Create Email Templates (5-10+ Minutes)

With all of these components neatly organized, you can now write powerful messaging in a storytelling format of your choice. 

Ex. 

“We’re helping [Sales Managers] striving to [Engage Prospects] but are struggling to [Find Time for Prospecting].

We provide [Streamlined] [Lead Generation and Sales Engagement] and continue to find success in the [Insurance] vertical because of our platform’s unique ability to [Save Time, Streamline Process, and Engage More Prospects]. 

I’m interested to see if there’s any fit between [FoxBound] and {{Company}} to drive similar results. Are you open to a conversation this coming {{4_business_days_from_now}} at 2pm EST?”

STEP 5
Rinse & Repeat
